LSMS BOG

Dear Members:

LAMPAC needs your help to insure that the LSMS advocacy efforts have the support they need at the capitol. We need to insure that our friends in the legislature not only know that we appreciate the efforts they have made, and continue to make, on behalf of the LSMS, but that we will work to insure they continue to serve in the legislature. When members of the legislature are term-limited, we need the resources to insure that their replacements become educated on the issues that are important to physician-led medicine and the LSMS. This is, and will always be, an ongoing effort that must be committed to by both LSMS and LAMPAC members.
LAMPAC faces a pivotal year in 2014. We must have at least 250 people contributing to LAMPAC to maintain our status as a “big PAC." If you have not contributed to LAMPAC in 2014, you don’t count toward the 250 contributors.

As a big PAC, we can give double what a small PAC can contribute. It makes LAMPAC a player in the political arena. With 2015 being an election year, we MUST maintain our certification as a big PAC for the preceding year (2014) to be able to contribute the maximum amount to any legislative candidate. We are one of the few big PACs in the state. Wouldn’t it be a shame to lose that status because we couldn’t get 250 of our 7,000 members to get involved in our advocacy efforts?

Diamond ($1,000.00) and Platinum ($500.00) contributors are also invited to special dinners and meetings with legislators throughout the year, particularly during the legislative session. This year we have also included an option to contribute over a 12-month period for these higher levels of commitment. We can automatically charge your credit card $84.00 per month for 12 months at the Diamond level, $42.00 per month for 12 months for the Platinum level, or $25 per month for 12 months at the Gold level.

Help us help you. Join LAMPAC today!
